All Sabelt products are designed and engineered exclusively by Sabelt in the operational headquarters in Turin, in collaboration with external design centers or in partnership with clients car makers, to offer unmistakable Italian style products. The quality of Sabelt products is the result of intense research and development, which allows it to reach the highest levels of performance and safety. Sabelt invests 8% of its resources annually in research and development and is the only company in its sector to have an internal dynamic test laboratory to perform ECE and FIA tests, aimed at verifying the strength and effectiveness of its products. The laboratory allows to carry out a quality control at every stage of production and a prior approval of the products. All tests are conducted with the specific intent to not reduce in any way the level of safety, while maintaining a bigger margin to the minimum required, with outstanding performance levels, built with style and design.

SEATBELTS

Sabelt seatbelts are available with 4, 6, and 8 fixing points and suitable for multiple categories of racing: rally, formula, clubman, tuning, racing SFI/FIA or any type of racing car.
The Sabelt R&D team has achieved during the years exceptional results, developing a lightweight Formula 1 harness that is less than 480gr and also features outstanding quality. The light webbing and materials such as titanium, magnesium and aluminium, and new technical hardware solutions allow the creation of leading motorsport FIA/SFI Standard belts.
Weight reduction is not the only goal, in fact all Sabelt seatbelts guarantee a higher safety level than the minimum required to all users, not only to professionals. All our customers take advantage of Sabelt technical department that is in constant contact providing technical information and schematics for every single custom seatbelt. We are the only seatbelt manufacturer to provide this service and at such a large scale all while maintaining quality, service and precision.
Moreover, we are the only company with such deep know-how in harnesses to be able to fully customize the harness components to satisfy customer requests.

We work to achieve lightness because a lighter seat allows more flexibility and greater comfort allows for zero distractions for the driver, increasing concentration and driving performance.
During the years, we have improved the geometry of the seats with careful work on the ply book - the result of Sabelt's experience in the production of OEM seats.
Some models include added head protection features to increase safety even in the event of side impact. The shells are made of carbon fiber to decrease weight.

Our top range of race suits feature lightweight sandwich construction, ultra-flat seams, customization of embroidery and prints, and preformed legs and arms for increased performance.

Safety and Laboratory

Since the foundation of Sabelt, the pursuit of safety has played a key role. In fact, we were the first to equip the laboratories of our plant with a dynamic testing system which simulates crashes and pre-homolages products for the strict automotive standards: an innovative system prescribed by ECE and FIA regulations. Extremely useful for testing the durability and solidity of the competition seat belts and seats. It allows us to carry out quality control at every stage of the production process in order to obtain advanced product approval. Tests are conducted with an uncompromising commitment to safety. In fact we are dedicated to staying well above the minimum level required. All this while providing outstanding performance, design and style.
