SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Since 2019, Sabelt has published its Sustainability Report on a voluntary basis. The document serves as the primary source of information on the Company’s sustainability initiatives, showcasing achievements and facilitating dialogue with stakeholders through transparent communication. Furthermore, the Sustainability Report demonstrates Sabelt's dedication to achieving the goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda.

Since 2022, Sabelt has been generating clean energy with a 200 kWh photovoltaic system installed at its historic plant. With the addition of another 330 kWh of solar power at its headquarters, the company is moving closer to near-total energy independence through renewable sources, reinforcing its commitment to decarbonization and sustainable practicesACTIONING CLEAN ENERGY
REDUCING PRODUCT IMPACTIn partnership with its suppliers, Sabelt has developed the first natural fibre seat shell using flax instead of carbon fibres. The production process of the former is less energy-intensive, uses renewable materials and thus reduces CO2 emissions. Flax is harvested and processed in rural areas of the EU where it is grown. The use of European flax, through an established and transparent supply chain, supports the economic and social development of rural areas.
ECOVADIS SILVER MEDALSabelt has been awarded the Ecovadis Silver Medal in recognition of its dedication to sustainability and social responsibility. Ecovadis is a leading rating platform that recognises companies that demonstrate exemplary commitment to these values. This achievement enables Sabelt to transparently showcase its environmental, social and ethical initiatives, highlighting its continuous efforts to operate responsibly and sustainably.
