Sabelt facilitates technology transfer from the high-performance automotive industry to other sectors where safety standards can be aligned, thereby reducing costs and development timescales. By leveraging products that have already been qualified for automotive and motorsport applications, Sabelt adapts them for aerospace use, ensuring that the strict safety and performance criteria are met.

SPACE

Sabelt specialises in the organization and accommodation of payload in space cargo modules for logistic and refurbishment mission. The use of advanced materials and lightweight designs optimises efficiency and allowed a reduction in the mass of space loading module restraint systems by up to 40%. Additionally, Sabelt has developed new foams optimized for cargo storage, further contributing to the efficiency and safety of space missions.

AVIATION

Sabelt is certified for design (AP/DOA) and manufacture (POA) aircraft seatbelts for flight, a market where weight is a critical factor. The Company’s expertise in the production of straps and nets is applied to the manufacturing of products for helicopters and aircraft. Indeed, all components comply with the highest safety standards used in motorsport.
