SABELT ACADEMY: A NEW OPPORTUNITY TO START A SKILLED CAREER
Sabelt presents its Academy: a training programme that provides an important opportunity for unemployed people to receive both theoretical and practical training under the guidance of an experienced Sabelt saddler.
The primary objective of the Sabelt Academy is to provide training and placement opportunities for new talent within the Company. At the end of the training period, participants are required to take a test to assess the skills they have acquired. The result of this test determines employment and any subsequent contract renewals.
The programme started in May with 20 young people, almost all under 30. The first round of training, which took place in May, achieved notable success with 100% of students being hired. The second session, which began in mid-July, is still ongoing and promises to replicate the success of the first one.
The Sabelt Academy is a good example of how companies can contribute to the training and employment of young people. By offering a targeted and practical training course, Sabelt not only supports the development of young people's skills, but also ensures the availability of qualified personnel to meet growing production needs. Looking to the future, Sabelt plans to extend this training initiative to other professions. This initiative, with its positive impact and promising results, could serve as a model for other companies in the sector.
