Sabelt is proud to be an exhibitors of the 73^th edition of the world’s premier global space event, the International Astronautical Congress.

The International Astronautical Congress 2022, hosted for the fourth time by the city of Paris, remains an important international event for all aerospace-related industries.

With more than 6500 participants from more than 80 countries, the International Astronautical Congress allows a continuous evolution and diversification of the aerospace sector.

This year, the IAC 2022 takes place from 18 to 22 September in the splendid setting of the Paris Convention Centre, a contemporary space in the center of the French capital.

The event is promoted by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and launches the motto ‘Space for @ll’. It is a way of indicating that all communities with potential involvement in space activities are resources for achieving a globalisation of space, and IAC is the place to create the right partnerships.

Sabelt is one of these realities and takes the occasion to demostrate it with an original initiative. Indeed, the Sabelt stand gives the opportunity to discover new products through the presentation of the mock-up of an aerospace aircraft equipped with seats, belts and cargo nets.

The latter represents a remarkable innovation. It is a restraint system of belts and nets that reduces the mass of the space loading module up to 40% of its original weight (about 100 kg of mass reduction obtained thanks to highly technological materials and new geometric designs).
