The 2019 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has been a memorable one for Sabelt.

The Italian Company, indeed, could celebrate together with the leading actors of all the classes that raced on the famous French circuit of La Sarthe.

Strength, safety and lightness are fundamental features of all Sabelt products. Talking about WEC, and about the most famous race of the series, the 24 Hours of Le Mans that was held this weekend, Sabelt provided seat belts with aluminium adjuster to all the chassis manufacturers of the main category: the LMP1. Even to the two Toyotas that finished in first and second place. 

All the Ferraris of the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans had Sabelt seat belts too. In particular, the Ferrari 488 GTE Evo n. 51 of the AF Corse team that won the LM GTE Pro standing. The team worked together with Sabelt during the last months to develop a new aluminium adjuster with endurance buckle and to lighten all the hardware: 2 and 3 inches tribar, extended tongues to make driver changes easier, 11 stripes belt to increase comfort. This new seat belt will be on sale with the 2020 catalogue with the name of GT-E. Sabelt also Provided AF Corse drivers and mechanics with fireproof clothing.

Sabelt played a leading role in all categories. It provided seat belts to all the LMP2 manufacturers too. Inclunding the ones of the Signatech Alpine Matmut team. The French factory won the category. It adopted fireproof clothing too for its drivers and mechanics.

Sabelt has been a protagonist even in the LM GTE Am category together with the winning Ford GT of the team Keating Motorsport. Sabelt provided fireproof clothing to drivers and mechanics of the team and the new LPM seat belts introduced in 2019 to the winning Ford GT.

Finally, Sabelt supported the Fia Women in Motorsport project cooperaing with the female equipe of Kessel Racing – Iron Dames.
