2022 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
For the fourth consecutive year, Sabelt voluntarily publishes its Sustainability Report.
Sabelt Sustainability Report is the reference source of information on the Company sustainability. It describes projects and achievements and promotes a dialogue with stakeholders based on transparency. The report follows the GRI guidelines, which are the most widely recognised framework in Europe for assessing and reporting sustainability performance.
The 2022 Sustainability Report confirms that Sabelt is committed to the goals of the UN’s 2030 Agenda and outlines the progress achieved during the year.
In 2022, the Company has made a significant journey and its narrative is spread over five chapters reflecting the company’s material topics: organisational structure and economic performance, innovation and quality, environment, and people and community. The Report shares stories of employees working together to build a better future for Sabelt and the local community.
In the last year, the number of employees in the Sabelt family has increased to 354. People remain at the heart of the Company’s success, as demonstrated by the renewed Code of Ethics, which expresses its core values.
In terms of environmental protection, our goals have begun to turn into concrete actions: from the production of solar power, to energy and process efficiency measures, and to the development of new prototypes using renewable materials. To start the decarbonisation journey, we’ve first evaluated our current situation: the outcome of this assessment indicates that our Scope 1 and 2 activities emitted 622 tonnes of CO2e, which represents a -11% compared to 2021 on the same perimeter basis.
